Living in Phoenix Arizona my whole life, I have always yearned to see season changes. This year, I decided to make that happen for my clients. I know that I will do it again next year! I headed to Northern Arizona and did some location scouting and was lucky enough to stumble across this beautiful location filled with Aspen Trees. Loved every minute!

Also, I am going to be doing an all-day photography workshop for teens this summer. The date for this workshop is July 26th. If you have {or are} a teenager that is interested in making a career out of photography someday, I’d love for you to join us. We will cover photography, business and photoshop basics and we will participate in a mock session that day. My teen years were when I found my passion for photography. I would have been very well served to have had a mentor to help me to learn the ins and outs of the industry before I entered it. Attending this workshop will also allow for additional opportunities to assist me at future professional sessions and get paid to learn, if you are interested. Military Family {Family Photographer Scottsdale Arizona}

I have been very lucky to be able to be able to photograph several military families. This sweet family was in their last week with their dad before he was deployed overseas. I was grateful to be able to capture some sweet moments between this family before dad was gone for a bit. They were such a super sweet family… and mom is a fellow photographer. I’m always excited to photograph other photographer’s families.

Let’s Get Personal {California Beach}

This summer has been a magical one for our family. This was our first real family vacation with our entire family. Kellen, my little guy, although he is still young, is not a baby anymore. {sniff} So we were able to go all day and had such a fantastic time. Just two photos to share for now. I need to get back to editing. P~

Sweethearts {Phoenix Wedding Photographer}

Loved my time with this couple shooting their wedding and reception. This post will just be their bridal session. These two had such a sweet connection and sweet story. Aren’t they a beautiful couple? As young as they look… they’ve known each other for a very long time and had been friends for several years. Their family had them matched with each other for a very long time. Only after his LDS mission to Ghana did he come home and immediately want to see her. The rest is a sweet history.
