I’m glad you’ve found your way to my information page! Thank you for inquiring! I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and help you to document this special moment in your life! I have been a photographer in the Phoenix area for 6 years now. My work has been published in many local magazines and international photography websites. I specialize in boutique children’s photography and also enjoy documenting those special family connections. I also do commercial photography. I love working with designers to help breathe life into their designs through my photos.
I’d like to start off by letting you know that you can shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or clarifications that you need after reading this. I’ll continue to add to the “Frequently Asked Questions” portion of this post as new questions arise, so enjoy!
Once you decide to book a session, please email me and let me know. I will send you an invoice for your $150 session fee. Once that fee is paid, your session is booked. I am booking 4-6 weeks in advance, and I am booking through the end of the calendar year, so it is not too soon to reserve a weekend for the fall family portrait season. The session fee is a creative fee. It includes my time at the session and the time that I spend editing the photos after the session and displaying them in your gallery. You will receive a password protected online gallery including 25-35 images within 2 weeks of your session date. Once you have viewed your gallery, you can choose the package you’d like to purchase directly through my client proofing site. There are a few package options to choose from, listed below.
What should I expect prior to my session? Prior to your session, you will receive an email or phone call from myself or my assistant Bridget. We will walk you through choosing a location and clothing for the day of your big session. These are both super important elements that will make the final product just that much more enjoyable. Planning and preparation is very important when it comes to any type of portrait session, whether it’s remembering to bring mom’s lip gloss, a snack for your kiddos hungry tummy (since most sessions are right around dinner time, or bringing a water bottle for a hot day. We’ll walk you through what you should need to plan on for the big day.
What to expect from your session with me? The session is my absolute favorite part of the creative process that is involved in creating portraits. I love to meet new, fun families and get to know new, sweet, little kiddos and their honest, free personalities. I also really enjoy documenting high school seniors. This is such a fun time in your child’s life, they are all right on the cusp of adulthood with so much promise and potential beaming through their eyes. All of my sessions last 1 – 1 1/2 hours. During this time, we will take breaks, and relax a bit. It’s no fun to have a perma-grin for over an hour. I like to catch those small moments in between capturing the classic posed portraits too. I always bring candy and props for the kiddos and try to make it a fun and enjoyable experience for all.
After your session, you will make your decision on the package that you’d like to purchase from the packages listed below. This package must be purchased within 7 days after the date that your gallery is released for viewing. All prints and gallery wraps are printed and finished with the highest quality available. Your portraits and gallery wraps are guaranteed to last a lifetime and beyond.
